Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Skin Rejuvenation is the foundation of FoRM’s Aesthetic Medicine program. PRP achieves what no other cosmetic procedure can…it improves the health of your skin at the cellular level, resulting in a natural glow and more youthful complexion, which is all yours, not synthetic. Platelet-rich plasma treatments include the PRP Facial & PRP Facelift, which stimulate the regeneration of healthy cells resulting in a more youthful appearance without surgery, fillers and down-time.
When used alone, PRP Skin Rejuvenation procedures are ideal for individuals looking for gradual but noticeable improvement in skin texture, tone and volume, with no downtime. These treatments pair well with cosmetic laser procedures, such as IPL photofacials, and/or botox injections for those looking for immediate, more dramatic results.
PRP Skin Rejuvenation Procedures:
PRP Facial
The PRP Facial combines the regenerative power of PRP with the collagen-induction effect of microneedling. Following the preparation of the PRP in office, the entire surface of the face is needled to create small channels. The PRP is painted over the needled area, penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin where it releases growth factors to stimulate cell regeneration. This treatment is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate signs of aging, scarring, hyper-pigmentation and skin sagging or thinning.
PRP Facelift
The PRP Facelift includes the PRP Facial process described above, with additional PRP injected into targeted areas such as deeper wrinkles, scars, pronounced sagging and/or skin hollowing. Commonly treated areas include “11” lines/ between brow creasing, around the eyes, and naso-labial folds.

FAQ
How does Platelet Rich Plasma Skin Rejuvenation work?
PRP Skin Rejuvenation procedures naturally stimulate the regeneration of new skin cells, correct damaged tissue, and reduce inflammation. Results include improved skin tone, texture, and complexion. When injected into the skin, PRP releases growth factors which trigger the regeneration of healthier, plumper skin with greater collagen content. Increasing collagen production helps correct fine lines, scars, and sagging. PRP Skin Rejuvenation is performed along with dermal micro-needling to maximize collagen production.
What is the difference between the PRP Facial and PRP Facelift
The PRP Facial involves micro-needling with PRP being “painted” over the micro-needled area. The puncturing of the skin helps the PRP penetrate into deeper layers of the skin. PRP and microneedling combine to have an additive effect on skin regeneration. This treatment is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate signs of aging, scarring, hyper-pigmentation and skin sagging or thinning.
The PRP Facelift includes the microneedling procedure described above with additional PRP injected into targeted areas such as deeper wrinkles, scars, pronounced sagging and/or skin hollowing. Commonly treated areas include “11” lines/ between brow creasing, around the eyes, and naso-labial folds. Please consult with your FoRM provider regarding the most appropriate treatment for you.
Which areas are treated with PRP Skin Rejuvenation?
PRP Skin Rejuvenation is typically performed on the face, but can really be performed on any part of the body needing regeneration. Other commonly treated areas include neck, chest, abdomen and hands.
How many treatments are needed to see results from PRP Skin Rejuvenation?
For best results, a series of 3 monthly treatments are recommended, depending on treatment goals. Some patients report immediate improvement in skin appearance, but many patients notice initial improvement 1 month after the first treatment. Each additional treatment provides additive improvement to skin appearance, providing longer-lasting results.
How long do the results last?
Results following PRP procedures for hair & skin can last up to 1 year from the final treatment depending on age and health status. To optimize treatment effectiveness, we encourage patients to seek out routine skin care services such as facials and microdermabrasion as well as work with their FoRM Functional Medicine specialist to optimize health. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6-12 months.
What is the cost of treatment?
The PRP Facial is $550. The PRP Facelift, which includes additional injections, is $660. Packages of 3 are discounted by 10%, packages of 6 are discounted by 20%.
