Dr. Brittany Krake is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor specializing in functional medicine, women’s health, hormones, and regenerative orthopedic therapies for chronic pain and acute injuries. With a strong foundation in primary care and advanced training in integrative medicine, she helps patients restore endocrine and metabolic balance, optimize hormonal function, and address pain conditions using a whole-person approach. She completed a post-graduate residency in integrative primary care at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR.
Dr. Krake’s clinical practice is centered on helping navigate hormonal and musculoskeletal changes across the lifespan—from reproductive health and perimenopause to menopause, andropause and beyond—with a particular interest in how hormones and lifestyle influence longevity, quality of life, and the experience of pain and recovery. She is passionate about bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and the lived experiences of her patients, ensuring care is personalized, evidence-informed, and empowering.
Dr. Krake has extensive training and experience in ultrasound-guided prolotherapy, prolozone, PRP/PRFM, protein concentrate, and trigger point injections for extremities, and utilizes supportive modalities such as nutritional IV therapy, PEMF, and ozone therapy for optimal outcomes. With clinical experience in New England, she considers diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne infections and mold exposure within this context. Dr. Krake regularly collaborates with physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists to promote optimal recovery for her patients.
She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Naturopathic Orthopedic Medicine Academy (NOMA) and has served in multiple board/leadership roles for the Institute of Natural Medicine and Naturopathic Medical Student Association.
As a Portlander, Dr. Krake grew up as a competitive athlete, dancer, and gymnast, which inspired her interest in lifestyle and natural health at a young age. Her passion for herbal medicine deepened while serving in the Peace Corps (Malawi), after which she found and pursued her career in Naturopathic Medicine. When not in the clinic, Dr. Krake is likely chasing around her amazing two kiddos and with her partner, Ian. She is excited to return home to the Pacific Northwest, the natural beauty and community it has to offer, and to join the collaborative team at FoRM Health.
